Paris to the Moon

I love everything ‘Paris’ so it was such a thrill to contribute a few of my pieces to this amazing feature called ‘Paris to the Moon‘ published in WedLuxe Magazine and on the blog as well. The creative producer and stylist behind this ‘Literary Love’ style file contest theme was Cynthia Martyn of Cynthia Martyn Fine Events. It was photographed beautifully by Corina of Corina V. Photography and all of the other wonderful vendors who came together to create this magical feature are listed at the end of this post.

The photo shoot was held at my favourite restaurant Colette in downtown Toronto. I love walking through the doors of Colette because I always feel like I have been swept away to the other side of the world. So Colette was the perfect venue to set the backdrop for this parisian-inspired feature.

For the sweetheart table, I created ‘His & Hers’ mini dessert domes to display gold dusted macarons. To carry the theme of the title, one dome featured an Eiffel tower charm and the other one had a moon. You can just see the tops of the dessert domes peeking above the chairs side-by-side in the photo below.

Also in keeping with the paris/celestial theme, the vintage saucer of the ring holder features a striking and bold ‘sunburst’ design. The Sunburst Vintage Saucer Ring Holder was custom made for this concept and is currently available to purchase on Etsy.

Thank you Cynthia for inviting me to participate in this concept and it was lovely meeting the other many talented ladies (and gents) as well.
