Sweet Regards

About a week ago, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Daniela of Sweet Regards in her lovely shop. I met Daniela earlier this year when our booths were next to each other at the 2105 WedLuxe Wedding Show. It was such a treat to visit her and see all of her gorgeous cakes and sweet confections on display.

I am thrilled to share some news! A few of my custom mini dessert domes are now on display in Sweet Regards. The domes compliment Daniela’s sweet confections perfectly where they can be rented out to decorate a dessert table for a wedding or bridal shower. For now, 12 domes can be rented at a time with saucers and ribbon colour coordinated to match the occasion — and a crystal charm added for some sparkle. Orders are also accepted for larger quantities as well. Please contact paige@heirloomkeepsakes.ca for rates and inquiries.

Isn’t this cake divine? I just adore the gold pears in the little bird cage.

And I love this painting of a fancy lady! But I think she should be contemplating eating a cupcake, don’t you?

Daniela’s shop is full of sweet little details like these strands of pearls. It’s so girly and pretty!

Thank you Daniela for a wonderful afternoon and letting me take some shots of your beautiful work. I plan to come back again for a taste of your famous bombettes!

Saucers of the Month: Roses in June

Do you love roses? I most certainly do! However, I have overheard florists say that bride’s do not want roses for their weddings nowadays because they are ‘boring’. Really? I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder and shows that I am a traditional girl at heart.

Roses are the most enduring symbols for love and appreciation and have been coveted through the ages for its simple beauty and intoxicating fragrance. Pink roses are a classic — they were the first colour rose cultivated, since pink roses are most common in the wild. And now they are available in every shade and colour imaginable.
